Metrika Joins Moody's Ratings at Digital Assets Week London 2025
On October 9, 2025, Jack Davies, Metrika's Senior Blockchain Analyst, will join Moody's Ratings experts in London for a discussion about the evolution and assessment of digital asset risks.
Bringing Traditional and Digital Finance Together
Digital Assets Week London 2025 focuses on the continuing realization of digital assets across the finance ecosystem, bringing traditional funding and listing players together with new digital exchange and platform opportunities. The conference explores both listed securities and private tokenization while addressing institutional adoption across the full spectrum of technology, crypto, and securities.

Jack will participate in “The Evolution and Assessment of Digital Asset Risks” alongside Cristiano Ventricelli, Vice President of Digital Economy at Moody's Ratings, and Vincent Gusdorf, Associate Managing Director and Head of AI Analytics and Digital Finance Research at Moody's Ratings. The panel will address how traditional credit analysis integrates with digital bonds and tokenized funds, how blockchain and smart contract risks impact investor decisions, and the challenges of assessing risks across fragmented infrastructure ecosystems.
Digital assets introduce risk categories extending beyond traditional financial analysis, requiring specialized approaches to protocol resilience, smart contract security, governance structures, and interoperability. Jack will discuss how Metrika addresses these challenges through comprehensive monitoring of protocol network metrics, on-chain asset activity, and smart contract changes across hundreds of Layer 1 blockchains and dozens of smart contract standards.
Building on Proven Collaboration

Metrika's participation at Digital Assets Week builds on the successful proof-of-concept completed with Moody's Ratings earlier this year. That collaboration evaluated key risk indicators for digital assets across multiple blockchains, focusing on operational challenges including platform network health and governance vulnerabilities.

The PoC demonstrated how digital asset risks can be quantified within traditional risk assessment systems, providing real-time risk monitoring at both protocol and asset levels. By combining Moody's expertise in evaluating financial exposures with Metrika's specialized blockchain monitoring capabilities, the partnership addresses the full spectrum of risks facing institutional digital asset participants.
