Metrika joins the GBBC Capital Markets RMF as a Risk Assessment Partner
Metrika is proud to participate in the Global Blockchain Business Council’s Capital Markets Risk Mitigation Framework as a Risk Assessment Partner. The framework, facilitated by GBBC and Oliver Wyman, gives regulated financial institutions a structured way to identify, assess, and manage non-financial risks associated with public blockchain infrastructure. Phase 2 is now live, with its first release focused on infrastructure risks across Layer 1 and Layer 2 systems.

This release arrives at an important point in the market. Public blockchain infrastructure is moving closer to core financial workflows, and risk teams need a common framework for governance, operations, cybersecurity, compliance, and infrastructure oversight. The RMF brings those risk categories into an institution-ready structure that can sit within existing enterprise risk programs.
Phase 2 expands the framework to infrastructure risks across both Layer 1 and Layer 2 networks, covering governance, resiliency, cross-layer dependencies, software attack surfaces, and finality and recovery risks. It also coordinates with standards such as MiCA, DORA, NIST, and COSO, giving institutions a clearer path to embed blockchain-specific risk assessment into existing enterprise risk and control frameworks.
As a Risk Assessment Partner, Metrika contributes to the practical implementation of the RMF within institutional risk workflows. The platform supports due diligence, monitoring, reporting, and mitigation across blockchain networks, tokenized real-world assets, and DeFi applications. Our Key Risk Indicator (KRI) library includes more than 2,700 indicators across the digital asset risk landscape, supporting continuous monitoring of infrastructure risk through enterprise workflows and GRC integrations.

This implementation layer is central to how the framework is applied in practice. The RMF calls for structured approaches to identifying and managing non-financial risk, and Metrika’s role is aligned with those operational requirements through support for audit-ready due diligence, real-time monitoring, threshold-based alerts, and reporting for compliance, audit, and governance functions.
Metrika’s participation in the RMF reflects a broader institutional need for risk frameworks that can be implemented as ongoing processes. As tokenization, stablecoins, and blockchain infrastructure become more relevant to financial services, institutions are building risk management approaches that rely on continuous monitoring, measurable indicators, and reporting aligned with existing control environments.
We are honored to contribute to this effort alongside GBBC, Oliver Wyman, core contributors, observers, and fellow Risk Assessment Partners. Phase 2 sets out a practical foundation for institutions adopting public blockchain infrastructure, and Metrika is excited to help put that framework to work.
